National Hospice Foundation

About Us

The National Hospice Foundation is dedicated to creating resources for individuals and families facing a life-limiting illness, raising awareness for the need for hospice care, and providing ongoing professional education and skills development to you, the hospice and palliative care professionals.

Together, we can improve care at the end of life throughout the United States.

The National Hospice Foundation seeks to maximize its impact by allocating resources to programs that provide direct services, education or training to the following interests:

We raise funds from individuals, foundations, and corporations to support programs that make a difference in the lives of the patients and families served by NHPCO’s membership, representing more than 70,000 individuals and over 4,000 hospice and palliative care providers.

Your gift -- of any size -- is important to our mission. When you give to the National Hospice Foundation, your tax-deductible gift helps to improve the quality of hospice care for those in your community experiencing advanced illness.

                Latinos
                Chinese Americans

  • Providing consumer resources for diverse populations
  • Increasing diversity-focused topics within NHPCO’s End-of-Life(EOL) online education
  • Providing in-person trainings for healthcare professionals at NHPCO and other national conferences
